Welcome to Believers’ Got Talent! This isn’t just a singing competition—it’s a celebration of faith, talent, and the power of praise. We wish to inspire young singers so you may inspire others and glorify God with your voice!

The Ultimate Vocal Praise Competition

Who Can Enter?

  • Age: Contestants must be 18 years old or younger as of July 1st, 2025.
  • Residency: Open to Texas residents only.

How to Enter

Step 1: Submit Your Video

  • Video format: Upload an Unlisted YouTube link (no MP3s, downloads, public, or private videos—Unlisted only!).
  • Song Selection: Choose one contemporary Christian song that showcases your vocal range and performance skills.
  • Performance Rules:
    • Videos should feature you singing live—no auto-tune, excessive reverb, or pitch correction. Microphone use is allowed as long as it follows this criteria.
    • Use live instruments or karaoke tracks, but no backing vocals.
    • One camera angle only—no zooming, panning, or fancy edits.
    • Memorization required—if you appear to be reading lyrics, you risk disqualification.
    • Video must be recorded after January 1st, 2025.
    • Time Limit: Your song must not exceed 5 minutes. Judges will have limited time to adjudicate your song so use your time wisely!
    • Frame yourself waist-up, at minimum, so we can see you sing!

Step 2: Submit Your Entry

  • Registration Opens: June 1st, 2025
  • Submission Deadline: July 25th, 2025 at midnight Extended to August 1st, 2025 at midnight
  • Application Fee: $25
  • SUBMIT APPLICATION – Closed

Worship

Competition Timeline

  • Semi-Finalists Announced: August 9th, 2025
  • Semi-Finals Round: August 23rd, 2025 (Top 25 singers perform live with a backing track they provide)
  • Finalists Announced: August 25th, 2025
  • Live Finals: August 30th, 2025 @ Preston Hollow Church, Dallas, TX (Live concert featuring a tailored performance from the Preston Hollow Singers during the judges’ deliberation)
  • Grand Prize Performance: September 28th, 2025 (Winner performs solo with orchestra!)

How You’ll Be Judged

A panel of professional musicians and worship leaders will evaluate based on: 

Vocal Ability & Musicianship

 Faithfulness & Song Interpretation 

 Stage Presence & Originality

Live Performance Rounds

Semi-Finals Round (Top 25):

The top 25 contestants will be invited to perform live on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025. This round is open to the public, so invite your friends and family to cheer you on! Each singer will perform their chosen song using a track of their choice, which must be submitted in advance.

Final Round (Top 10):

Top 10 Contestants perform live with a professional band and in front of an audience! This will be a live concert event featuring a special performance from the Preston Hollow Singers during the judges’ deliberation. Rehearsal with the band will be held on the day of the event with your chosen song.

 1st Place: $1,000 + a solo performance with a live orchestra and choir!
 2nd Place: $500
 3rd Place: $250
 People’s Choice: $250 (Live audience vote!)
