▸Reset Room With the help of the Preston Hollow Church community, the Reset Room was created as a cozy spot in Rowlett High School designed to give at-risk students a place to breathe and collect themselves when the burdens of their daily life become too much to bear. Several news stations have since picked up on our story and can be viewed on their respective websites below. CBS 11 WFAA8 Fox 4 News▸Rise Against HungerEvery year we pack 10,000 meals to send to families in need, and we need your help! To find out more about Rise Against Hunger and how it works, check out their website here! ▸Pumpkin PatchEvery year, we unload 2 semi-truck loads of pumpkins on our front lawn and open it up to the community. Our pumpkins come from the same farm as the Dallas Arboretum. There are dozens of varieties of pumpkins, some you have probably never seen before! From September to October, we sell pumpkins to the community. In 2018, we had our best year yet making over $30,000! The funds raised go to benefit the Preston Hollow Elementary School, Kids Hope USA, The Birthday Party Project, and other mission projects in our community. Currently, we provide underwear to the Nurse’s Office through an Undie Sunday worship service project. We also serve a Thanksgiving luncheon to the teachers in appreciation for all they do. Our church sponsors about 50 children each year as Angel Tree families and buys Christmas presents for them. Then, we secretly distribute the presents to the parents during our Breakfast with Santa, while the children listen to Santa tell a story.
