Our play-based program is dedicated to providing early childhood care and education in a Christian environment and focusing on developing the whole child.
Our Mission
At PHUMC Preschool, we believe every child is created with unique potential and purpose. We strive to nurture that potential by providing a strong, developmentally appropriate foundation. Through a supportive environment and engaging curriculum, we foster each child’s spiritual, emotional, physical, cognitive, and social growth. Children in our program are encouraged to discover and experience God’s love and acceptance through exploration and learning. Our Programs
Infant Classroom
3-18 months
Our infant program provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where babies can grow and thrive. Caregivers focus on building trust, encouraging curiosity, and supporting each child’s developmental milestones.
Toddler Classroom
18-24 months
Toddlers learn best through play and exploration. Our program fosters language development, motor skills, and social interaction, helping children gain independence while feeling secure and supported.
Two-Year-Old Classroom
Our two-year-old program encourages hands-on learning, creativity, and discovery. Children begin building strong social and academic foundations while developing confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Three-Year-Old Classroom
(must be 3 by September 15)
Three-year-olds are eager to explore, imagine, and connect with others. Our program supports early literacy, problem-solving, and cooperative play, while encouraging independence and confidence in a fun, structured environment.
Pre-K
Our Pre-K program helps children get ready for kindergarten in a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment. Each day includes hands-on activities that build early reading, writing, math, and social skills through play and exploration.
Children enjoy circle time, creative art, music, science, and outdoor play while learning to work together, solve problems, and express themselves with confidence. Our teachers provide a warm and supportive atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Programs
Music Program
Our music program gives children the opportunity to explore rhythm, melody, and movement in a fun and engaging way. Through singing, instruments, and creative expression, children build listening skills, coordination, and confidence—while discovering the joy of music.
Chapel
Each week, children gather for a special chapel time where they learn about God’s love through Bible stories, songs, and prayer. Chapel helps nurture spiritual growth, kindness, and a sense of community in a joyful, age-appropriate setting.
Bible Lessons
Our Bible lessons help children learn about God’s love, values, and teachings in an age-appropriate way. Through stories, activities, and discussion, children explore faith, develop moral understanding, and grow spiritually in a supportive and nurturing environment.
STEM Room
2 – 4 years
Our STEM Room introduces children to science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on experiments and creative problem-solving activities. Children explore, investigate, and discover in a fun, age-appropriate environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
Library
Our library encourages a love of reading and exploration. Children have access to a wide variety of age-appropriate books and enjoy storytime, independent reading, and literacy activities that support language development, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning.

Registration forms will be processed in the order they are received. Once your child is placed in a class, a payment link for the non-refundable $350 Registration & Supply Fee will be sent. This fee is per child and must be paid to complete enrollment.
