This December we will be collecting a Christmas love offering. A love offering is a special offering that is above and beyond your normal giving to the church. We encourage you to prayerfully and sacrificially give so that we can continue to reach people in our community for Christ through missions and service.
Throughout history of Preston Hollow, we have always given back to our community.
This year, we would like for our Christmas offerings to support two special causes.
The first is our Angel Tree for 25 families in need that we’ve adopted for Christmas.
Second, we have decided to partner with Oaklawn United Methodist Church in helping to provide shelter for our homeless, the most vulnerable in our city. Due to Covid 19, sheltering looks different this year.
Our goal as a church family is to raise $5,000. The North Texas district will match our gift and double it to $10,000. This love offering will go to accommodate those in need for Emergency Shelter. They will be set up in hotel rooms when the temperatures get to the freezing point.
We are asking you to give with a spirit of Christmas Love.
