This past Memorial Day, producer, Jim Gray, and artistic director, Russ Rieger invited musicians from all across the country to create a “Virtual” choir honoring those “heroes” who gave so much….and to honor those frontline workers who are giving of themselves right now.
The response was great! Singers and instrumentalists from the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee (and everywhere in between!), came together to perform, “God Bless America!” It was such a success…we want to try it again! Click here to view the performance!
We want you to be a part of “The America Sings Project!”…a star-spangled salute to our nation on her 244th birthday. This 4th of July, our “Virtual” Choir will be singing a wonderful arrangement of “America the Beautiful” by Marvin Gaspard.
Visit the “Choir” or “Orchestra” pages for handy recording tips, information regarding where to send your finished recording, and to request music.
Also….we are also very excited to announce that our project beneficiary is “No Kid Hungry.” This tireless non-profit is a movement of teachers, chefs, community leaders, parents, lawmakers, and CEO’s with a shared belief: no kid in America should go hungry. Please visit the “No Kid Hungry” page to make your voluntary gift to this amazing cause.
Have a wonderful 4th of July!
